Kubernetes Engineer (f/m/d)

• Strategic Planning: You will design and implement advanced hybrid cloud and cloud-native infrastructures, with a particular focus on data platforms. You place great importance on incorporating all functional and non-functional requirements into the design.
• Consulting Expertise: You will act as a trusted advisor to our clients and internal project teams to ensure the seamless integration of new infrastructures into the operational structure.
• Customer Focus: Beyond design, you will assist our clients in implementing cloud governance, DevOps, and CI/CD processes to ensure optimal solution functionality.
• Technical Implementation: You thrive on technical challenges and are not afraid to personally implement parts of the architecture and work on the infrastructure.
• Knowledge Sharing: You will serve as a coach and knowledge sharer for our internal colleagues, sharing your expertise in all aspects of hybrid cloud/cloud-native technology.

Qualifications:

• Possessing more than 2 years of practical experience with kubernetes
• Hands-on experience in cloud and cloud-native technologies
• Exhibiting over 2 years of practical experience with Infrastructure-as-Code solutions such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Crossplane.
• Holding a completed technical degree or an equivalent qualification.
• Fluent in negotiating in English.
• Embracing a strong team-oriented mindset and a willingness to collaborate.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Terraform would be advantageous.
• Ability to discuss, evaluate, and communicate architectural decisions to stakeholders.
• Knowledge of observability in cloud and cloud-native environments.
• Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Kubernetes (e.g., CKA from the Cloud Native Foundation) are a plus.
• Solid understanding and commitment to the GitOps methodology.
• Experience with microservices architectures within Kubernetes is desirable.
